Today, thousands of schools across the country have simplified their loan process by using ELMNet.  As the leading loan processing platform in the industry, ELMNet provides a single interface that supports all of a school's loan certifications, status changes, and tracking or reporting for both FFELP and private loans.  ELMNet enables participants to automate regardless of their technology, while enjoying the benefits of faster processing.

ELMNet schools have the flexibility to receive pre-approved, borrower initiated, certification requests via a report or a CommonLine file.  Schools can certify these loans on ELMNet or send a batch file created from their Student Information or Financial Aid Management System.

ELMNet offers real-time loan information and processing, along with a technology bridge to allow all participants to enjoy the benefits of real-time processing, even if their system uses batch files.
